Charitable Donations
Reynolds Lake Oconee, along with its Members and employees, have made public service, volunteerism and reinvestment in the community a priority for nearly three decades.
Requests for donations by organizations that serve the community may be submitted using the form below. Due to the large number of inquiries received annually, primary consideration is given to Lake Oconee-based charities and groups and those whose services predominantly benefit the citizens of this area. To allow adequate time for review and fulfillment, a minimum eight-week lead time is required for consideration of requests, which are evaluated monthly by a selection committee.
If approved, contributions are made “in-kind” for the purpose of a silent or live auction versus a monetary donation. To protect the value of Reynolds Lake Oconee's products and services, we must require that recipient organizations begin the auction bidding at 60 percent of the retail value of the donated item. Additionally, the organization will be required to submit the name of the winning bidder to Reynolds Lake Oconee before the item can be redeemed.
